What kind of technology is being used in STC’s campus wireless network?

South Texas College has selected the Cisco Unified Wireless Network solution to provide students, faculty and staff a secure wireless network connection at our campuses. The college adopted the 802.11 a/g/n/ac standards to allow access to all campus wide access points.

What kind of equipment do I need to access the wireless network?

A Wi-Fi certified or IEEE 802.11 client is required to access the network. We work intensively to cover a wide-range of devices featuring different platforms.
